OK, so my streak of uploading things to my blog, lasted...a good 5 entries! lol...

SO, catch up time!

I am now living in Somerset, and have almost settled into our new place. We are both really happy...
We are temporarily working together, until I can find a job in childcare at least!
I am packing deliveries for my friends company, ready for shipment, which may not sound glam, but I am having a blast with the guys! I have made lots of new friends, and although I have only been there for a few weeks, and am still feeling quite shy, I am starting to open up and let people in...
I miss my family. My mum and dad especially...my best friends, who I seem a million miles away from right now...not 2 hours away!
Before, they were half hour...but that extra hour and a half seems like a lifetime! :O(

I know things will be different here...But Im happy, and have almost reached my 1 year wedding anniversary with my lovely man Steve! I have no idea what he has planned for my for celebrating, but I have something for him that he will adore (but I cant put it on here yet in case he sees it!!)

I am also back on youtube...has only been 2 months! Have I mentioned my YouTube-ness?? my user name is Harriet1984...you should check it out! I make completely random videos, although are mainly beauty related...but I love doing them! Any suggestions will be taken (although not necessarily acted upon!)

Anyway, just a brief catch up, and will go into more detail soon. Im beat....
Emptying boxes really takes it out of me!

My mum and dad came over today - was lovely to see them.
I was supposed to be going to a recording studio today to record my version of Love Song by Sara Barilles - but because of my toe, I felt a little uneasy on my feet, and its actually been agony today!

Getting ready to go to an Ann Summers party at the moment - I love girly nights!!

Short and sweet today - writers block today! In copious amounts of pain!!

bath

Quite easily the hardest thing I have ever done, it trying to get in and out of the bath!!
I felt and looked like Bambi learning to walk! It was crazy!!
The bruising on my toe is now spreading, down towards my foot. Its really not nice. And the warm water felt odd...you know how cold makes pain feel less? Well...the warm water made it feel like it was pulsing! Very peculiar!!


How has your day been? I have managed to make a new video for my youtube channel, and watched a couple of bad movies. Welcome to my life!!

Day 2

Day 2 of being house bound!!
Managed to get into work today to drop off a letter to say im signed off. Was lovely to see the girls...being called 'hopalong' 'limpy' and 'cripple'
I even got cuddles from my babies!


The thing that gets me, is not seeing them everyday until I leave...
I have been ordered to come back and visit before my 'last day' which Ill have to do anyway, to drop my uniform off and stuff...
But I have to do my final farewells!!


Off out for dinner tonight...my hubby says he's going to decorate my crutches...


Please help!! Need suggestions of movies to watch!

Bored

So, I have managed to watch a  small selection of films today, and feeling even more sorry for myself than before.
I called the doctor, seeking advise for going back to work...
a letter is at the doctors at the moment, informing my company that I am to be signed off for 2 weeks...ish...
Now, I handed in my notice about, 4 weeks ago, due to my husband changing jobs, and we will be moving to Somerset...so in theory, I would be finishing work in 2 weeks...meaning, I wont be working the last of my notice. which I am seriously gutted about!
I think i am in the small minority that enjoy my job - I am in childcare, and couldnt enjoy it more! The girls I work with are amazing, and I have a great laugh with all of them...
Im just gonna be so sad to move without saying goodbye properly...unless I hobble into work, which hubby wont allow me to do!
Still, hes away this weekend, so I may go and do a sneaky bit of shopping on Sunday! 


Any ideas on how to beat these blues? Answers on a virtual postcard!!

Disney

Does everybody else like Disney movies?!
I am obsessed! As my user name suggests, I was born in 1984, making me almost 27. BUT, Disney is my life, and High School Musical is brilliant!
I honestly love them!
So what's your favourite Disney film? I love Beauty and the Beast - Hands Down, in my opinion, the best Disney film ever... and the only one that has ever been nominated for an Academy award...
I love the characters, and the story...the romance, the music...

I own every Disney film, apart from 6. Disney just makes me smile!

There's a random cat sat on my doorstep...and its looking through the glass...
Its a very weird sight!


Oh the joys of being off work...Im now gonna fill this blog with all the things I can do from the sofa!! Not a lot to be honest! But I think keeping this blog will help pass the time and keep me from going insane!


I also have a diploma to do, so while Im sofa bound, I can keep on top of my homework! Are you all jealous that I am having loads of fun!? no?
Me either!


Ooh, time for more ibuprofen! The only thing at the moment keeping the pain under control. I wonder if chocolate has the same medicinal effects.......
